PRIF maintains the largest library in the area of peace and conflict research in Germany.

Our collection is digitally avai­lable and can be searched on our website. In the area of inter­national relations, our library is one of few compre­hensive and fully accessible libraries with a focus on theories of inter­national relations, global politics, civil wars, European security, arms dynamics and arms control.

The library is a member of the German Infor­mation Network Inter­national Relations and Area Studies, a coope­ration of German research institutes from the area of inter­national relations. The network curates the database “World Affairs Online”, one of the largest literature data­bases for inter­national relations.

The library is open to all interested readers, and items can be borrowed locally or through inter­library loans.
